Pre-School Program at St. John the Evangelist School
St. John the Evangelist School Pre-K offers an all day session and a morning
session. The
children are introduced to formative concepts such as language development,
social awareness,
music and art activities, their letters, using our Alpha Time program, shapes,
numbers, and colors
are introduced.
Every child has a computer time during the week with the computer in our
classroom. Religion
is taught through prayers, stories, and music. The children enrolled in the all day
program also have
lunch, outdoor playtime, rest period, science and additional activities. The program
offers structure,
planning, and encourages group direction and individual creation. The curriculum is
formulated to
provide a sense of security, which comes from consistency and affirmation.
It is our goal, our hope, to assist them in achieving their potential through guidance,
understanding,
individual attention, and love.
