In Religion, we emphasize the “basics” of the Catholic religion—
we also incorporate “service hours” with the curriculum; hours during
which our students emulate the servant hood of Christ by serving others
in the school, community, and church congregation.
Every year, the 8th grade performs “Stations of the Cross”, a
re-enactment of the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. Through this,
the students obtain a greater perspective and understanding of the
suffering that Christ went through for us, and hopefully, more fully
understand the sacrifice that Christ made for all of us.

8 Math & Health
Eighth grade math helps the students get ready for math & algebra at the ninth grade level,
as well as prepares them for other related high school classes. Health class involves
learning about facts and discussing real life situations.
